One vehicle that I don’t know I’ll ever get sick of is Jon Baker’s “Trophy LTD”, a Kibbetech-built 1990 Ford Crown Victoria LTD that fits somewhere between a desert runner, a moonshine runner, and Mad Max’s retirement ride. If you have never, ever bashed around off-road in an old sedan, then you might not understand the deal here, but I have. It’s stupid fun and it’s even better when the vehicle you are using and abusing can not only take what you’re dishing out, but can walk away from it without a scratch, laughing at your attempts. That’s where this LTD started…back when it was your random used car. It’s far from that now. Sorry, Ford purists, but it is LS-swapped, but we’re pretty sure that there wasn’t a lot that a purist is going to like about the car in the first place!

This is one of those crazy-assed ideas that come up when you and your buddies are drunk and are spouting off random B.S. at three in the morning, come to life. It still seats four. It still uses most of it’s sheetmetal…though, we do wonder where the front clip to the car went? Bring back the nose! In the meantime, here’s proof that not only does the car look the part, but it runs the part and that Baker does not treat this big Ford with kid gloves. That poor, poor rev limiter…wow.
