Happy Birthday Indeed: Cleetus Gives An Associate A Burnout Car For His Birthday!

Overall in my working career, I’ve gotten luck of the draw when it comes to bosses. I’ve only had two that I’ve ever had any real issues with, and there hasn’t been any that were 100% bad people. There might have been personality conflicts that pissed me off every once in a while, or I might have learned what their true colors were after they had “left the company”, but overall, quite pleased with what I’ve experienced. And with no ass-kissing necessary, working for Brian and Chad has ruled all. I’m on a leash but damn if I know it’s there…the last time I heard anything negative was one of my early stories that involved skydivers and unorthodox methods of attaching parachutes that barely cleared the sniff test. Having good bosses makes just about any job, any task bearable.

Rewarding the employee is the other side of that coin. I’m covered, I have no wants aside from my usual “dream sheet” lists that everybody has in any job. If the boss is good, the employee works hard. If the employee works hard, they should be rewarded, encouraging them to not only work hard, but to stay around instead of looking for a shinier penny to attain. In the case of that tall, lanky Southern-drawling Cleetus, he felt that the proper way to reward his friend and assistant Chad was to hook him up with a burnout car.

A freaking burnout car.
