Hearing the hatred, derision and straight-up smack talking of anything GM LS engine-related is just about a daily occurrence nowadays. So many people are quick on the draw when it comes to saying anything bad about the late-model mill, even when it’s doing proper work. Ok, fine…here’s one for you Ford guys. The license plate on the back says it all: “LSX LOL”. A VMP supercharger and plenty of nitrous turns an already decent Coyote-powered Mustang GT into something to behold. From the second the burnout starts, you can tell that this pony is pissed off and looking to hurt plenty of feelings…if our eyes aren’t mistaken, the car bounces the rear end off of the ground before settling down for the burnout! We aren’t going to knock LS motors here…we know what they can do and we know why they are popular…but there is one Mustang out there that is doing everything in it’s power to put anything GM related in their rightful place: the rearview mirror.
So stop mentioning the LS – we’ve all just about had enough!
I dare say by now there’s even some Chevy fans out there who are sick of hearing about it.
Nice car by the way….
Those Coyote engines are extremely impressive. It’s a shame that Ford only puts it in their trucks or Mustangs as it makes a used one hard to find. Since GM has put the LS in about 15-20 different vehicles, they seem to be littered across junkyards throughout the country. Hopefully Ford will keep churning them out so eventually I can replace the big block in my 66 F100 with one. They can keep the LS for the Camaros, Chevelles, Novas, etc….
That’s old video. Car is much faster now by 1/2 second in high 8’s. You could at least mention the awesome tuner who has masterminded this epic fast Street Car. Yes street car that is hefty in weight dept
Why didn’t you mention the awesome tuner’s name?
It’s not an old video it’s from june, the nitrous wasn’t working
Didn’t that car only make 700 something horsepower on the dyno at SCT? And then proceed to lose to a big fat hell cat in the finals. Could have found a better example of an LS killer, yawn.
