There was more to see than a Hemi-powered Impala showing combine drivers how to mow down some wheat at Eat Sleep Street’s “Controlled Chaos” invitational Cash Days race in Kansas. We’ve been hearing from several sources that this was a race to be at, not only for the action, but for how well it was set up and ran, and from the footage we’ve been seeing, we believe it. Love or hate these no-prep races all you want, the truth is that they are bringing in the crowds, the racers and the money, and it’s because of action like this. Take these two nasty machines: In the right hand lane you have, simply, The LUV. Based out of north Texas, this small-tire sociopath is a common sight around no-prep races. In the other lane, you have a wicked Mustang, and you Ford guys will be happy to know that it’s all Ford under that hood. The launch is good, the traction is good, and the race is close…damn close. WOW
great race indeed
first shot looks like the truck
second one looks like the stang
third one looks like a tie
Joe’s response x2, don’t know who won?
The Mustang got him but by less than a bumper width!
Agree with Jerry Z. Pausing the frames on the second view showed the Fox body took the win by about 18-24″. Great race, both drivers did a good job pedaling.
