I’m normally a Chevrolet or GM guy to the core, but in the 1930s, 1940s, and 1950s there were some seriously cool looking rides coming out of all the big three. In truth, they had some very similar body lines and shapes back then so if you like one manufacturer’s cars from that era there will probably be something from another that you dig as well. Case in point is this rad 1954 Plymouth Savoy which has some very similar lines to the early 50’s Chevys. This one here is chopped to the max, which is why everyone at Holley’s Moparty was paying attention and checking it out.
Thankfully the Holley guys did a mini video feature on it so you can check it out too. It’s big block powered as well, which makes me dig it even more.
Video Description:
At first sight, there is no question that this 1954 Plymouth has seen quite a bit of bodywork. But can you figure out how much has been done besides the roof chop on this 440-powered hot rod over the years? Dave Fleetwood has been spinning the wrenches on the Plymouth ever since he rescued the car from a car lot for $500 years ago. •https://www.holley.com/blog/post/2022… •https://www.holley.com/blog/post/holl…
