Listen, Kringle. We haven’t seen eye-to-eye since I was fourteen and got a PlayStation and Gran Turismo for Christmas. I spent the last decade not asking for much, so humor me and leave this 1974 Dodge D300 Adventurer in my driveway. It’s one thing, surely one thing in seventeen years isn’t too much to ask?
Look at it. You don’t have to worry your elves about building or even restoring it, since both have already been taken care of. The yellow and white paint is flawless, the cargo bins in the bed look immaculate, and the wheels are the perfect white-spoke type. The chrome is straight and looks perfect, which even your magic can’t pull out of thin air. Surely, even you can agree that visually this Dodge is stunning, right?
And it’ll move, more than nine irritated reindeer surely can as you’re hauling their furry asses all over Creation in the dead of night. Under the hood is the Cummins 5.9L diesel and overdrive automatic transmission from a 1992 Ram, so you can even say that it’s a recycled product of sorts. And it’s built to last, since the owner has rustproofed the body and frame. That’s more than you can say about the bicycle you left me when I was six. So what that the air conditioning doesn’t work right now? I know it’s asking a bit, so I’ll meet you in the middle on this one little hitch.
And just to make sure you don’t have a reason to “forget” like you have done with that Challenger I’ve been requesting for the last six years, I’ll make it easy for you to find. It’s in North Carolina. I’ll even leave you with a link. Certainly $8800 for a used truck isn’t out of your budget…especially since I heard some nine-year-old brat last year bragging about getting an iPad. Don’t fail me this time, Saint Nick. Venison jerky sounds awfully good to me right about now…

Maybe he got it for you already? Or some other kid. Looks like coal again this year.
Venison steak. Venison jerky. Venison stew. Antler-handled knife….
Thats f’n sweet! I’m not really into diesels, but that is one fine truck! I’d rock that alllllll day!
I like this truck, I myself happen to own a 1974 Dodge D100 Club Cab with a 2007 5.7 Hemi in it.
I go to click on the link and it was deleted by the author, WHAT SORT OF FRESH HELL IS THIS?!
Means some lucky mother now owns one very sweet Dodge.
