Yes, another Chevrolet Suburban was found that has been cut up into some kind of gigantic four-door ute. I want to say that I’m surprised, but I’m not. What I am surprised at is that compared to the one that Lohnes put up a week or so ago, this one looks like it might actually pass a vehicle inspection and isn’t made out of a couple of trucks…maybe. I understand the reasoning behind the build, but seriously…Chevrolet did make four-door trucks in this vintage. Was chopping up a Suburban really going to be that much better than owning a 3+3 Heavy Duty? It isn’t like the Suburban is that much shorter than the four-door pickup…
From the ad: “This custom professional all steel conversion was a 1985 Suburban. Now a Custom Avalanche. Build started by pro custom shop. Finished by my son and I (also pros) about 10 years ago. It has a 1989 chevy front facia and grille installed.. 4X4 works. 350 4bbl automatic.Has been driven 250miles within the past year. NO RUST EVER! has new 32 X 11.50’s on alloy wheels. Drives very nicely. Has reece hitch. Nice Interior needing headliner. all glass is good. New plugs, wires, and fresh oil & filter. sometimes puffs a little dark smoke on first start of the day due to not being touched for 10 years. The truck has been stripped of paint and is now in black high build primer. Very many man hours invested in this one of a kind Avalanche. clear current NC title.”

A pickup tailgate will bolt right on, why didn’t they spring for that at least. I’ll stick with the Cornbinder Wagonmaster thank you.
