It is very, very difficult to look at this 2005 Dodge Ram and not immediately have images of it running over every possible thing on Creation while blasting “Ride of the Valkyries” out of the stereo at full volume. Just look at it…this is a Mad Max creation come to life that could survive just about whatever could be thrown at it, from deep snow to treacherous mud, with up to six of your friends along for the ride. This is the final word for any coal-rolling bro-dozer, because seriously, where do you go from here? The answer: underneath those tracks, where lesser vehicles belong. The license plate should be something like “BEAST” or “ODIN” or something like that.
So just what, exactly, are you looking at? The Dodge Ram part is pretty much a given: it’s a Cummins-powered 2500, with a built up 47RE automatic and an MBRP exhaust. Oh, you mean the gigantic tracks at every corner? That’s easy: this Ram has been cross-bred with a Tucker Sno-Cat 442 chassis, which means that 25 miles an hour in the snow is probably the best you’ll ever get out of the monster, but that 25 miles an hour means anywhere, even if you wanted to travel to Alert, Nunavut via the scenic route. It might not be the most useable vehicle in Small Town, America and you’re a brave soul if you park this thing anywhere near San Francisco or Seattle, but if you need to be the top dog in the diesel pickup King Of The Hill challenge, this Sno-Ram is your only option.
Worth mentioning – this was built during an episode of “Diesel Brothers” on Discovery (the guys from Diesel Sellerz / Sparks Motors in Utah).

Nice to see you’re embracing your inner Diesel Brothers
Last time I looked, endless snow fields were in short supply in Southern California….
