Truck Feature Video: Marc Gombosi’s 1972 Ford F250 Highboy 4×4 Restomod Crew Cab Is One Sexy Beast!

Wow, this is one cool ride. I’m a fan of these old Ford crew cabs, as they just weren’t popular or common back then like they would become during the 1980’s and beyond. In fact, Ford and Dodge were really the only ones making these in any real numbers at the time and it would be the new squarebody Chevy that would really be the first GM truck to come in a crewcab in any real numbers. Of course GM would jump on that bandwagon hard with that era of truck, but these bumpside Fords really set the stage for cool before that.

And this one here takes it to a complete different level. The Godzilla swap with a 10 speed trans makes this thing something special, and the looks are factory fresh but with a little twist. I love this thing, and hope that whoever bought it at Mecum loves it too.

Check it out in the Ford Era video below.
