Rick Dobbertin built some seriously awesome hot rods over the years, and was one of the pioneer’s of the Pro Street movement. His 1965 Nova turned the world on its head with the stance, big and littles, and the unreal big block with twin turbos AND a 6-71 blower. This car is still around and looks as amazing as always, and turns heads no matter where it goes. It’s always fun to watch folks who are seeing it in person for the first time. And then there is Dobbertin’s Pontiac J2000. This is the car that took Pro Street to a whole new level.
With a polished stainless steel tube chassis, TWO superchargers and TWO turbos AND nitrous, plus paint that was beyond killer, there wasn’t a car guy or gal on the planet that didn’t love seeing this one. I’ve had the opportunity to walk around this thing and can tell you that it is awesome beyond awesome and I love it.
