This ’65 Chevy Pickup is one cool push truck. Plus, it has a chassis and suspension that is just a little out of the norm, but with reliability that makes this the perfect daily driver hot rod. It’s got stereo, good engine and trans, a bitchin stance, cool history, and more. Robert Scott, who happens to be a BangShifter himself owns this truck and has driven it all over the place. It can now be yours.
Located just north east of Dallas, in Garland Texas, this little ’65 has made the drive to Bowling Green for the Holley NHRA National Hot Rod Reunion, and it’s even came out to California for the AutoClub NHRA California Hot Rod Reunion. Hell, if you buy it you will be that much cooler cause it has probably been places you haven’t!
It’s got a 350/400 combo in it, mid 80’s G-body front suspension on a Z’d clip, the original ’63 rear axle (just freshened), along with a bunch of cool hot rod mods, new wiring, gauges, stereo, interior, and more. The push bar is removable, although why would you, and it’s ready to drive anywhere.
We’d take it in a heart beat. I wonder if he’d take the $200 Hauler in trade? Hmmmmmmm
