Craigslist Find: If Wanting This Is Wrong We Don’t Want To Be Right. Jumping It Would RULE!

Craigslist Find: If Wanting This Is Wrong We Don’t Want To Be Right. Jumping It Would RULE!

So who’s loaning us the money for this bad boy? With 444 horsepower at the tires, a great cage, tons of spares, and perfect black paint, we’ll look good jumping this thing for all it’s worth! It’s got a blown LS2 from Turn Key engines that is backed by a 4L80e and dream suspension that is limited at 18″ of travel for durability. Can you say “Let’s prerun Baja!”. And talk about having some fun jumping it. Sign me up. Were you expecting a car? Sorry. This is one of the baddest prerunners we’ve seen in a long time, and it’s for sale in Northern California and was tuned by our friends at Goodies Speed Shop. With an asking price of $69,000 we are just a tad short. Anyone want to loan us some cash? We only need a little. From a lot of you.

The spec sheet on this 2001 Chevy Silverado extended cab prerunner is awesome. We’re sure it would cost at least twice the asking price to build one. I wonder if we could do this to the $200 Hauler! We’d go turbo on the LS motor though. Just saying.

Check out the great photos below, and all the specs below that. Someone please buy this so we can go hang out with you in the desert.

This truck is on consignment. The current owner purchased the truck in the beginning of 2008 with 62,000 miles, from a friend of his, whom was the original owner that bought it brand new in 2001. He then started building the truck. It was done in three stages over the last 4 years. TurnKey did the engine work and JD Fab did the chassis, suspension and so on. Goodies installed the super charger, and worked deligently to make sure it met all the requirements of CA smog rules. Finally it was put on the dyno with 444 HP to the rear wheels!

The truck was finished in the middle of 2011. He had it built for yearly trips to Baja, but was never able to make due to work. The truck has two small Pismo trips just for fun, but other then that, it has never been off road.

Roughly 5000 miles since LS2 and tranny install

Only 71,000 miles on original odometer

2 owners

Clean and clear title

Air Conditioning is fully functional

Always garaged!

Always trailered, to either JD Fab or the two Pismo trips

Driven twice a month to keep it healthy. But for the most part it was simply stored, waiting to go on a trip, that never happened. The cage, tubing, hardware, etc.. all looks like it was installed yesterday.

This truck is fully sorted out. Ready for every day driving or prerunning Baja!

Over $110,000 invested and its still all new and fresh.

$69,000
