Someone Put Cadillac Fins On A 1990s Lumina. Grab The Eye Bleach, You’ll Need It

Someone Put Cadillac Fins On A 1990s Lumina. Grab The Eye Bleach, You’ll Need It

Oh, the horrors…seriously, you have to be one very sick puppy to dream up a concoction like this chimera. What you are looking at (if you haven’t gone blind out of mercy yet) is a 1995 Chevrolet Lumina that someone thought would look better with a set of 1958 Cadillac rear fenders, tail finds and trunk. How strong was that liquor, again? Because for the first time ever I feel sorry for a 1995 Lumina.

Ignoring the most major modifications for a second, this looks like any other street-beater Lumina, albeit one that got a copper paint job with flames. The wheels are stock, the interior looks absolutely ragged, especially compared to the outside, and the V6, which is either the craptacular 3.4 or the slightly better but still gutless 3.8 is somehow moving this freak show along.

But you simply cannot ignore the fins and rear sheet metal. I don’t want to acknowledge that someone at least tried to make the craftsmanship look good, because this car defines “half-assed” for me. At least the ’50 Ford/Thunderbirds look like someone tried a little, and compared with this gem, they look absolutely wonderful.

Click Here if this…thing…looks like the right car for you. It’s on Craigslist!

Omg that is awful, whatever he was drinking when he came up with that idea needs to be banned. Also it probably only has the 3.1 in it. The LTZ option had the 3.4’s in them but the bone stock ones had the 3.1.

  2. Rodman

While not the best choice in body mods, it is some seriously good body work! I wouldn’t let him design my ride, but he can sure fix a dent or two if I needed it!

I totally agree with Rodman, the concept is an abomination but the execution is really nice. Would I drive it? Oh HELL no, I applaud the body work though.

Not only did this person use the quarters, but it has the trunk lid and rear bumper from the caddy. They look narrowed too.

On anither note about these auto-abominations. Why do all of them have interiors I wouldnt enter even wearing a hazmat suit.

If you’re gonna make it ugly, go all the way like with wheels and interior!

    Great craftsman, piss poor designer!

reminds me of a local ( Aussie) abortion that goes to shows here – do a google image search for ` ek commodore’ (EK’s are 1960 ish Holdens that look vaguely like a 57 chev – very vaguely – and the particular mid 90[‘s Commodore looks vaguely like the above Lumina..)
