BangShifter Scott Payton sent us this one the other day, and it turns out it’s located about 5 miles from where I grew up. If you like traditionals with a twist, this one just might be perfect for you. The ’51 Chevy Styleline Deluxe is a roadster now, with Jaguar power, and custom everything. The history includes multiple magazine features, trips to Bonneville, and more. You’ll have to really look at it to understand the customization that has gone into this one, but it’s an odd duck for sure. We’re not sure, but we think even the doors have been shaved. Not just the door handles, but the doors themselves. As in welded shut all Dukes of Hazzard style. We really want to see it in person!

I know this car fairly well–it was originally a 4dr. and came from a wrecking yard in Leavenworth, Kansas. It was kept in drivable condition through most of its mentamorphisis.
