When we get stuff like this in the BangShift.com In Box, it always make us giggle like little girls. No matter how many times we see something weird, like this Blues Brothers inspired Polara Pro Street car, we always wonder how it is someone came up with this idea. In this particular case it makes me wish I had thought of this myself so that we could have stolen Brian’s Caprice out of his driveway while he’s on vacation and then tubbed it. That would have ruled! Anyway, back to this pile of fun. Under the perfect dirt and grime is a 446 cubic inch Wedge Mopar “roller motor” according to the ad, and we can see that it’s got an MSD Distributor and wires, some kind of aluminum intake, headers, and of course the always important chrome Mopar Performance valve covers. There are several other fun mods on here so we are going to ask you to try and see if you can identify all the strange or “custom” modifications.
Thanks to Jesus “Chuy” Nava from MSD for the tip on this one. He knows how to find the “good” stuff. LOL
The Ebay ad link is at the bottom of the page.
Here is what it says.
Goshen In. The brakes need work , have to push the pedal hard to work for more info give me a call at 786-459-2641
3500.00 … tempting!
Apparently it used to be purple. A purple Polara, I’m having a hard time wrapping my mind around that.
Honestly, I really like this thing. Some paint and detail work would make it really nice. I’m not sure I’ve ever seen a tubbed rear with slapper bars though.
This is a Monaco, not a Polara.
Ugh! What a hack job. LOVE the fender flares.
I’m not a Mopar guy but this thing is super cool in a strange kind of way. I would drive it.
Does it come with a wiring diagram??? Lol.
Fix the cigarette lighter..
Good one!
Strange, in a good kind of way. Would be way fun to screw with people
