When the boys at Stokers told me about this 1937 Chevrolet Convertible Deluxe that they were getting ready to sell, I looked at it and thought it was a cool hot rod. As a die hard Chevrolet guy, the endless sea of Ford hot rods is cool but I always thought that if I owned a Pre-1940 Hot Rod it would be cool for it to be a Chevrolet. Well this one takes it to another level. The fact that it is one of just 1400 made means it is ultra rare, and that’s cool, but that doesn’t really matter to me in the grand scheme of things. What does matter to me is the fact that this sucker has a 409 in it! Well actually a 409 that has been bored and stroked to 474 inches that are dual quad equipped as you would expect!!!
It has one more day on ebay, and we think someone needs to add this sucker to their collection. I’d drive the wheels off this one. AND, if you buy it I’ll drive it cross country to wherever you are. You pay for fuel, we’ll handle the road trip. We’ll make it famous!

1937 Chevy Convertible
One of 1400 Made. All original sheet metal.
Car was finished by us in 1998 for a customer, but only driven 880 Miles since. Featured in Rodder’s Journal issue #12.
Original Chevy Frame, TCI Mustang II front, Leaf Spring Rear, 4-wheel Power Disc Brakes, Power Steering, 9″ 3.50 Posi rear. Frame and under carriage is highly detailed.
Stroked ’64 425HP 409, now 474″. Factory Dual Quad intake and carbs. 700R4 Transmission, Griffen Radiator.
Leather Interior, Vintage Air AC/Heat, Tilt Column, Restored original gauges, all chromed Top bows and latches, Glide Seat.
Real Halibrand Wheels and new tires.
Runs and drives good. Runs cool and very fast and dependable.
