(Photos: Mårten Carlsson) Over 70,000 people descended on the Bilsport Elmira Motor Show this year, taking in the wide mix of cars that were present and showing. With cars of all types present, from restored Volvos to ex-racing Camaros and Corvettes, the show offered something for everyone. What other show would present you the opportunity to check out a restored 1977 Volkswagen Passat, a Buick woody wagon and a concours restoration-perfect 1959 Cadillac Eldorado convertible, in pink (of course!)? While we love to see all of the American cars that have made the journey to northern Europe, it’s neat to see some of the local flavor as well, from nasty-looking Opels to tiny little Austins and classic Audis. Click the photos below and check out some more of the flavors Sweden has to offer!
Now that’s a real car show!!! Lots of 4 doors and cars looking like they are supposed to. No big ugly billet wheels either, GREAT THANX!!!!!!!
