Car Show Coverage: Goodguys 26th West Coast Nationals In Pleasanton: Same Day Coverage Thanks To InGear Media

Our dude on the street today is Todd Ryden, owner of InGear Media, who sent us a very cool gallery of photos from the 26th Goodguys West Coast Nationals in Pleasanton. Todd has been a staunch supporter of BangShift.com since the beginning, and is a talented writer and photographer. You are going to love these photos. Todd took photos of everything from hot rods, to food, to the swap meet, and more. He even shot the small engine display which is where dudes have miniature small-block Chevrolet’s running along with small radial engines, blown flatheads, and more. Trust us, you’ll dig it.

As most of you know, I’m the announcer for all of the Goodguys Autocross events across the country, and this happens to be one of my favorite venues on the Goodguys show circuit. Part of that is because I grew up in the Bay Area and going to Pleasanton Goodguys shows was just part of what we did. But after seeing all the fairgrounds and racetracks that Goodguys goes to, I have to say it is still one of my favorites. It’s between Pleasanton and Des Moines, Iowa for top spot as far as I’m concerned.

Make your own judgement. Come see us at a Goodguys show!

Big thanks again to Todd Ryden with InGear Media. With a name like that they are totally BangShift approved!

I want a bare steel car so bad I can taste the rust, but keeping up with it would suck and eventually I would give in to paint or let the rust have it. This one is bad assed.
