This weekend’s Goodguys Fall Del Mar Nationals 2013, in Southern California, is always one of our favorite events of the year because of great weather and great friends. This year the weather failed us a little as the rains came down in biblical proportions on Thursday and Friday, literally washing away the Goodguys Autocross course, and dampening spirits, cars, trucks, vendors and every other damn thing out there. All of our friends were still there, and we got a respite from the rain just long enough to get some good Tri Tip BBQ in along with a few “spirited” games of Cornhole.
Luckily Saturday morning had blue skies and a HUGE crowd running around which made it great. Chad was announcing the Autocross all weekend, but was able to grab some photos on Sunday for you to enjoy, including almost all of the weekend’s award winners.
Del Mar is on my bucket list of shows to go to, and is they Peyton handing out awards ?

When I was stationed in San Diego, if I wasn’t deployed, I always attended the Goodguys Del Mar show in the fall and spring, thanks Bangshift for bringing me some good memories.
