When Joe Grippo told us he was going to a show called the Rollin Rods Funtastic Car Show we though it sounded…well…Funtastic! When he said that the show is held at the Bellview Winery in Landisville New Jersey, we thought that was kinda weird. When he said that entry into the show included a Wine and Cheese tasting, we figured the cars would probably be a little high brow for us regular folks. Man were we wrong! The hot rodders invaded in grand fashion and we’re not sure the place will ever be the same.
Was the wine described as having some burnt rubber and nitro notes? We hope so, since those are our favorites.
This show is a perfect example of lots of different cars coming together to support charity, which in this case was some local Veteran’s Groups. We can’t argue with the cause that is for sure.
And as Grippo says, “Lng Live The Local Car Show!”
