Yep, The Grove is getting old. Maple Grove has been around since the Stauffer family started it way back in 1962, and what better way for Ford fans to help celebrate your 50th birthday than to throw a Fun Ford Weekend event! Our official Ford Fan on the street, Joe Grippo, was there running his bitchin Mustang and at the same time snapping photos like a mad man. I’m not sure how the hell he does all of it, but whatever his secret is he kicks ass. With Ford bracket racing, a Super Cobra Jet Shoot-Out, Car Show, and Swap Meet there is plenty for everyone to see and Grippo got it.
Grippo also said that they had a ball, although they did break some stuff in the process. That’s racing, so I’m sure they’ll fix the Mustang up and be back at it with big wheelstands like we have come to expect from Joe.
The Grippo Stang. While it does look good sitting here, it looks way better with the front wheels 2 feet in the air.
The Super Cobra Jet Mustangs are stupid fast. We hope the COPO Camaro can keep up. Meanwhile Drag Pak Challengers are crushing records.
Mavericks are cool. We dig them. Like Ford Vegas. Ooops, did I say that. Let the flames begin.
