Event Coverage: 80 Photos of Detroit Speed’s 2010 Open House, BBQ, and Shop Tour

Detroit Speed’s Open House and BBQ is a must attend event each year during the Good Guys South Eastern Nationals. Since we were at Charlotte Motor Speedway to announce the Good Guys Street Challenge Autocross, and we wanted to see Dale Jr’s Camaro in person, we decided we would head over for some good BBQ, good cars, and good people. We were not disappointed, because this was one hell of a show and we’ve got the photos to prove it. With hundreds of cars on site, Detroit Speed’s Open House 2010 rivals Hot Rod Magazine’s Power Tour Lunch Stops. It was truly amazing, and the Detroit Speed team should be commended for all their hard work.

One and all were welcome, and the mix of cars on site was very impressive. Street Rods, Hot Rods and Pro Touring machines along with everything in between were lined up together around the impressive Detroit Speed design and manufacturing facility in Mooresville North Carolina. CNC machines, welders, chassis tables, and more fill two buildings, plus there are killer projects everywhere, including Dale Earnhardt Junior’s bitchin Camaro. We wanted to take everything home with us, but couldn’t figure out how to fill the HHR rental car and then get everything home. Next time we’ll rent the car for longer.

We have all of it in a gallery of almost 80 photos from the Open House and BBQ. To see all of them, click on this link or any of the photos below.
