Event Coverage: 350 Photos from the 2011 Fabulous Fords Forever Car Show at Knott’s Berry Farm

Living in Southern California means there are car shows each and every week, regardless of the time of year. But when spring rolls around, the car show scene really starts jumping. Last weekend, tireless contributor Scott “Rebeldryver” Liggett, headed out to Knott’s Berry Farm for a Sunday of fun. Not the roller coasters, or good fried chicken, but killer Fords of all kinds littering the grounds of the famed amusement park in a show of Blue Oval solidarity.

Read Scott’s take on the show, and check out more than 350 photos, below.

You like Fords? You like cars and trucks with a blue oval stuck on the grille? Then the Fabulous Fords Forever is the show for you. A Southern California institution for twenty six years and this year was bigger than ever. Held on the beautiful grounds of Knott’s Berry Farm, this show has something for everyone who has a thing for Fords, Lincolns and Mercuries. Mustangs, Fairlanes, Broncos, oh my. Prefer an Econoline? Plenty were on site. Don’t miss 2012, because it was great.

2011 proved to be a special year for Ford as Fabulous Ford’s Forever was celebrating the 40th Annivesaries of the introduction of the Pinto and Pantera. Two polar opposite modes of transportation, but each with a hard core following. Both models had a showing in numbers we haven’t seen since the days when we were taking roller disco lessons. This year also marks the 50th anniversary of the Econoline vans. And, let’s not forget it was 45 years ago when off road fun began with the introduction of the Bronco. You say you like those little boxy early Broncos? There were literally more than 150 of them all parked on the show field.
