As we wind up our coverage from the Spring 2016 Redneck Rumble, we have been contacted by many people who have attended past shows and even the one we were at. We thought we did good covering everything that was present at the Wilson County Fairgrounds near Lebanon, Tennesee. Apparently, we couldn’t be more wrong…we’ve since learned that this show was “fairly empty” compared to past events and that honestly, we had only just scratched the surface of what comes out and what is present. We didn’t stick around long enough for the flame throwing, the music, or any of the other fun…and we will not make that mistake again when the fall show comes through town.
One thing that we did manage to catch before we left was something really neat: the man behind “Harry the Tow Truck” and his family had heard about Mike Finnegan coming out to the Rumble and waited for the majority of Mike’s scheduled lunch break to meet him. He lives out here now and wanted to meet Mike in person. Mike was just as psyched to meet him as well. How cool is that?
Great iron! You even managed to toss some AMC stuff in. Score!
Great show!
