GALLERY: Drifting at Holley LS Fest 2014 – Sideways Action From The Track Here In Bowling Green

The drifting competition at LS Fest was tightly contested, between Nissans, a GTO and a BMW 3-series, all of course packing LS power. A unique event sponsored by Lucas Oil and Wrecked Magazine, the drivers gave their cars all sorts of hell, running tight and fast, and occasionally pitting each other out, with the BMW taking one of the hardest hits where part of the front sheet metal wound up in the tail panel of a 180SX. Earlier in the day though was the worst wreck, when a Savanna-era RX7 came into the first corner way too hot and lost it, sliding backwards into the concrete hard. Drifting might have it’s roots in Japan but it’s a motorsport that any gear head can get behind just for the fun factor. Take a look at our gallery of pure sideways action!
