John Jackson is back at it with another local car show video, which is often a rare situation for him as he is usually at all the big name shows. But like all good car guys he took that opportunity to have some fun and visit a local car show, all for our entertainment. If you aren’t familiar with John’s work, he owns Not Stock Photography and is one of the premier hot rod, classic, and custom car photographers in the world. I had to go to New Orleans to photograph a Muscle Car for next years Axalta Refinishing calendar, and the owner of the car I was supposed to photograph was heading over to this show in the morning so I agreed to meet him there.
I have never been to a bad car car show nor have I ever had a bad meal in Louisiana so I was pretty excited to check out this car show in old Towne Slidell Louisiana.
I believe they said this was only the third year for this car show, and if so……it’s already awesome. I kind of just wandered around the show, and watched people roll in, and Im pretty sure they had about 300 or so cars.
I love great local shows like this because you get to see a great mix of styles from bagged caddies , mini trucks, and legit street legal race cars.
I highly recommend this show to anyone even spectators I had a blast.
