Tuesday at the 65th running of Bonneville Speed Week was a very interesting day that included lots of spins, some serious carnage, and plenty of records. Plus there are 17 cars that sat in impound over night and will be hitting the salt first thing in the morning to backup their qualifying passes from Tuesday. The field is getting smaller, as guys have failed to go faster, are breaking parts, or have come and set their records and headed home. The names on the “I came and blew my junk up” list are some of the who’s who of land racing as well, including Freiburger and Turk, Nish, Poteet and Main, Etc. It’s been an interesting day to say the least.
Oh, and Don Prudhomme was here too, hanging out with George Poteet and checking out action on the salt. Way cool.

Nice work guys, Thanks BangShift
BangShift rocks! George Roseland may be inducted into the 200 Club again, if he makes the grade in his hand-built car. He is the most experienced master mechanic and driver that I ever met and knew personally. Give ’em hell, George!!
