(Photos: Zane McNary) Nothing quite killed the LSR buzz like having Bonneville shut down for the second year running, but at least there are locations like El Mirage to make up for the loss. With six miles worth of useable land, El Mirage is still a great place to line up and let it all hang out. With the season coming to a close this was the last shot for racers to make it or break it before having to settle down for the winter.
