The Pomona Swap Meet is a Southern California hot spot, and a destination for Car Junkies from around the world. This was the first Pomona Swap Meet of the year and it was packed. We’ve never had to wait in such a long line to park. In addition to the plentiful array of parts and tools available in the swap meet area, Pomona is known for being the place to buy and sell cars.

We were really surprised at the number of people still waiting in line to get into the car corral area at 7 am when we arrived in Pomona. And while we had a car to sell, you can pull in this area just to park close and show off your ride. For $25 you get the car and two people into the swap meet which is only $2 more than parking out with the “public” and having to walk a half mile. The other cool thing about Pomona is the family outting atmosphere you’ll find in the car corral. Many people bring their EZ Up, BBQ and cooler so they can hang out all day and look at cars or buy parts. It’s really a cool place to hang out. If you haven’t been, we highly recommend you do. It’s definitely a great car junkie destination.
