Saturday afternoon was a drizzly, messy, and cool day that bore more resemblance to Seattle than it did to what is the normal here at BangShift Midwest. It was that kind of drizzle that makes it too wet to work outside. It’s not rain, but it’s just enough to annoy you. In short, it’s not car show weather in the least. So when the wife and I were looking for something to do, I was a bit skeptical: who would be doing anything in this stuff? As usual, our pal Jeff Lee tipped us off when we needed it and suggested that we stop into Rattletrap Productions for their open house. According to their Facebook page, they were going to have the show “rain or shine”, so we packed bags and headed south to White House, Tennessee.
Stacey David and the Rattletrap staff host open houses from time to time at the White House studios and encourage those who come down to bring their rides as well. During the event the shop is open for tours where Stacey gives information on the vehicles that are currently in the shop, as well as setting up other activities. I’ll let the photos tell the rest of the story from here.

I’m a sucker for a good push-truck, and this Chevrolet looks great. It’s owned by Jason Bullock of Bullock’s Bodywerkz, who was selling handmade furniture from recycled automotive gear.
Yeah, don’t bother including good photos, that show what the exhibits actually look like. We like them all scrunched up like that, so we can’t see the way they really appear.
Sorry Rod, there was a problem with the code squashing the photos. All fixed.
Stac; I watch the show alot but I’m no Mech. wish I was. I’m also on the Poor side, so watchin is probably as close as I’ll get to something of my own, and I just wanted to say Thanks man.
NiCenter Pics Stacry. I wish I could have been there
Would love to see you get ahold of my 96 two door Tahoe and stealth it out for me. Was a mechanic for over 30 years and built Allison transmissions for the last 15 of them until I messed up my back and after 5 surgerys I’m now on disability and can’t do what I want to. Just a thought. Great show.
We went and had a ball, Stacey was super nice and informative and spent time with everyone that he spoke with. I’ll be back next time. Thanks to Stacey and his GEARZ family for making us fell at home with friends.
