It doesn’t take much for us to hit up a car show. As long as some decent cars will be present and it doesn’t conflict with our schedules, chances are good that we will be present and accounted for, checking out what rolled in, usually with camera in hand. During the early afternoon on a Sunday, I didn’t find myself at a car show, but in the office, trying to get some work done. I’d been there since noon and hadn’t made much headway when I decided to just break loose and head to an ice-cream social event that my mother-in-law was participating in at the Clear Fork Baptist Church. A small church in rural Kentucky with a tight-knit congregation, often times they will get together for potlucks and other social events. I had been told that it was suggested that members bring out their nice cars to the event, so if it failed, I got homemade ice cream, and if I got lucky, I got some good pictures and homemade ice cream. Sounded like a win-win situation.
