Goodguys never fails to bring out some jaw-dropping cars to the show field. Personally, I’m not big on car shows…I like my iron moving and screaming. But the details that many of these guys go to is incredible. Where to start? How about the Mercury Comet that looked mostly stock save for the custom taillight panel, that was hiding a trick suicide door setup? Or maybe it was the 1968 Chevrolet Impala that looked like it had rolled directly off of the dealership lot and onto the grass. Whatever your flavor, from the traditional to the trick, it was parked and ready for the masses to view. From triple carburetion and fabric-wrapped spark plug wires to air-ride suspensions and interiors that would shame a Bentley, we continue to be amazed at some of the details that are incorporated into these builds. Click on a photo below and take a walk around the Beech Bend show field, and if you don’t find the perfect “Oh, that’s sweet!” car in this batch, don’t fret…there’s plenty more photos on the way!
