So we’re sitting in Newburgh, Indiana with our buddies from Route 2 Media waiting for fireworks and planning out our week leading up to the Goodguys 14th PPG Nationals in Columbus Ohio and decided we were going to ask you to help us out. We’re leaving Newburgh on Thursday morning, and heading toward Columbus but want to do some cool stuff along the way and get it on video. You know us, we’re always up for an adventure, so give us your suggestions. Plus, I’m looking for something cooler to ride in than the Route 2 Jeep, so what do you have? Hell, I’d ride a minibike to Columbus if we could get away with it, so give me a lift, lend me a ride, or just come follow along with us as we stop to look at cars, people, and food. In Evansville, IN there is a group called the Mater Dei High School Super Mileage team. They built a car that gets over 1,000 miles per gallon I know the team very well and I bet we could get you in with them to grab a ride!!! Email me!
A visit to Rabbit Hash, KY would give you a nice scenic drive along the river for a bit. Plus you might even get to pet the mayor. Look it up and you’ll see what I mean. Also if you make it up to Cincy by thursday night check out Thursday Night Lightz at Edgewater dragway. Run what you brung street racing style setup taken to the safety of the track.
It might also be advisable to avoid Sparta, KY all together. The Nascar race is there this weekend and it will be a traffic nightmare.
