As previously blogged, we’re following the Detroit Auto Show through the eyes, ears, and words of Rob Einaudi over at CarDomain.com, and today’s news on that blog is that Rob got the chance to interview hero Ford J Mays, the design man behind the new Mustang in ’05 and ’10 (he did the new Beetle before that).
Rob’s first question was what May’s opinion was of the new Camaro and Challenger. Rob wrote, “He said that the Camaro is ‘too much of a caricature’ and seems like a ‘stunt’ that somehow made it to production. He said the Challenger is a
much more balanced car, although he took the opportunity to say that
both cars are too big.”
