We love SCORE and all that is desert racing so we are excited as hell to be watching the BAJA 500 LIVE right here all day. The race has just gotten started and the Trophy Trucks are already burying themselves in the silt beds just a few miles into the course. How will that effect all the other classes who have to run through there? Will they be light enough to float across the silt, or will the Trophy Trucks have torn it up to where it is impossible for anyone to make it through clean? And will fatigue become an issue for teams that are using valuable energy digging out so soon in the race?

It’s going to be a great one we’re sure, as racing in BAJA always is, but it is also going to be interesting and we have a feeling that there will be more than strategy coming into play during this one.
