Hot Rodded Mustang Also Modified To Carry Almost 80 Pounds Of Pot!

Hot Rodded Mustang Also Modified To Carry Almost 80 Pounds Of Pot!

Here is some seri0us proof that the Customs and Border Patrol agency has some skills, and some really cool technology. A few days ago these guys busted a would be drug smuggler who had modified his hot rodded 1966 Mustang to hold nearly 80 pounds of Marijuana in the front fenders. Using their portable X-Ray system, and a talented drug dog, they found “anomalies” in the front fenders that led them to believe something was up. Upon further inspection and some disassembly, these compartments were found in each front fender packed with a whole lot of pot. The 29 year old driver of the Mustang lives in El Paso Texas and was arrested and sent off for prosecution as you can imagine.

We’ve heard all kinds of stories about vehicles modified for drug and people smuggling operations over the years, but this one has got to be one of the cleanest mods we have ever seen a photo of. Despite being a pretty trick mod, it goes to show that the technology of law enforcement, and the ability of talented drug dogs, can’t be beat.

Profit and Greed … plain and simple …. but then again …. who ever said criminals/smugglers were the brightest bulbs on the block ? ….. 😉

Its good to see the Border Patrol and Customs getting drug busts like these, and I appreciate the work they do in trying to keep our country safe.
I’m sure that someone will score a good deal on this Mustang once it goes up on government auction.

Maybe the proceeds from previous “transactions” are what paid for the car and the performance mods.

It’s almost impossible to get past the sniffer dogs (was going to say ‘impossible’ but there’s always an exception)
