(Photos by Darr Hawthorne) • The inaugural Hotrods ‘N Helos Classic Car Show landed in “Surf City”—Huntington Beach, California last weekend. The folks who brought us an awesome event during Covid—SoCal’s series of Quarantine Cruises.
This one-of-a-kind event, presented by QruisinPCH and the 42 Foundation celebrates Southern California’s classic car culture parked alongside a bunch of helicopters, flown-in during a local Saturday experience.
Proceeds support the 42 Foundation, an organization dedicated to programs that increase the effectiveness of law enforcement, and to provide aid and to support the physical or mental health and wellbeing of the employees of the Huntington Beach Police and their families.
Since 2000, the 42 foundation has raised over $1,400,000 in contributions to support organizations who serve others.
With awesome sponsors like ARP Fasteners, FiTech, Mothers, Magnaflow, Hillbank Motor Corp, TMI Products, Liquid Moly and dozens of local hot rod and truck builders, this event was sold out weeks ago.
Getting up close and into a helicopter is a cool experience, as well. On the beach at Huntington is the perfect place to hold what should be an annual event of Hot Rods, Classics, Muscle Cars, Pro-street, Customs, Vintage Trucks and Helicopters!
