This one’s a huge time killer! There was a day when, every time we bought an old car, we’d search the swap meets and Hemmings Motor News to find all the factory literature we could for the year/make/model of our latest ride. But now, thanks to the interweb, most of that junk is available digitally.
The Old Car Manual Project and the Old Car Brochure sites are a boon for anyone seeking this retro info. We like the brochure site best.
If you really want to kill some time and help a lot of other gearheads, then round up your own old literature, scan it, and upload it to the site.
