The Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) and
its Automotive Restoration Market Organization (ARMO) and Hot Rod
Industry Alliance (HRIA) Councils announced July 8, 2011 as “Collector
Car Appreciation Day.” The date marks the second commemoration in what
will become an annual event to celebrate and raise awareness of the
vital role automotive restoration and collection plays in American
society.
To help collector car enthusiasts celebrate, the SEMA
Action Network (SAN) is compiling a list of events happening around the
country on July 8, 2011. But, we need your help!
If you are attending, promoting or know of any car
shows, cruises, etc. that are scheduled for Friday, July 8, please
forward any information to Ashley Ailsworth at [email protected].

I was over at Vintage Air this week,they have the “Act” or letter from Congress on the wall.
I can’t drive my hot rod to work because I’ve torn it apart for my A/C install!
I was not aware that tomorrow is National Collector Car Appreciation Day. I guess I should probably drive my junk. . er, COLLECTOR CAR to work.;-D
I drove my Camaro to work today for the first time. I have been working at Firewheel Classics in Wylie Texas for about 3 months. It is a Classic Camaro parts house. Some cool cars came in today. At lunch I did a big burnout at Oriellys to celebrate the day.
