Brian and I snuck into the SEMA Show a day early even though we weren’t supposed to today, and found one of the cool parts we had been hearing rumors about and had spied at last weekend’s NHRA Big O Tire Nationals in Las Vegas. The new Holley Dominator carburetor is rumored to flow as much as 1475 CFM, although nobody is saying for sure just yet. We’ll find out soon enough though. This new Ultra Dominator is die-cast, and features much smoother main body air entries up top. Plus, the bottom of the carb is much cleaner than previous models, and the air cleaner flange is larger and has big threaded bosses on it. We’re not sure if there are going to be metering block or float bowl changes because the one we saw at the races was incomplete and we didn’t get up close with the one in their booth. We will later this week though and let you know all the details.
Until then, check out a couple photos we snapped.
