When our pal Keith Jesse posted up that he had bought one of these kits from Overkill Racing and Chassis, I was blown away. Somehow I’d never heard about these cool weld kits and so I was super intrigued and went to their website to check them out. There is a link below if you want to go to Overkill and grab your own kit. There are several available for building clocks, plus some other cool artwork pieces that will help you hone your tig welding skills and let you show them off to friends and neighbors. If my shop was ready and I had my welder setup I would be buying some scrap tube to start practicing on and then get after one of these kits. I will end up with one, I assure you, but it might have to wait a few months.

And I say TIG, but the truth is you can welding it however you like. Wanna lay some fat stacks using a MIG welder? Knock yourself out. Are you the master of actual gas welding with a torch and filler rod? Go for it brother.

Whatever you choose, you’ll end up with a seriously cool clock that will draw lots of attention. The kits start at $125 and are available with custom LED lights and more. These are cool and a serious attention grabber when done, that’s for sure.
