While I often poke fun at the fact that there are few Nostalgia Funny Cars in Brian’s neck of the woods, or on the east coast in general, 2013 looks like it’s going to be the year of the Funny Car out east! As you know, BangShift.com will be broadcasting live next weekend from the New England Hot Rod Reunion in Epping New Hampshire, and as if that isn’t enough you east coasters can also check out a great race at Capitol Raceway Saturday October 12th. There will be a 12 car Funny Car show along with Fuel Altereds, Jet Cars, and much more. It sounds like the east coast is stepping up their Nostalgia Drag Racing game, and we are glad to see it!
What we want you, the best readers on the planet, to do is go watch these shows live, and take your friends and family. If you haven’t experienced live drag racing then you haven’t lived. And while growing interest on the east coast is awesome, these events need your support. So buy a ticket, take your kids, and have fun.
