It seems fitting that with our work on the Dirty Cougar that we go digging into the Forum Project files to check up on one of the wilder Fox body builds that doesn’t have the word “Mustang” attached to it. “Bacon” has been busy whipping up a wicked Lincoln Mark VII LSC up from what looked like a sinister driver to an all out hellion build, complete with a small-block Ford running a turbocharger. Turns out that he might have targeted BangShift to post the build because one of the writers has a kink for a hot rod Fox body Lincoln. Can’t possibly figure out who that could be, can you?
The work has been progressing steadily since the last time we popped in to see how the LSC’s build has been going. From what we see, everything is in “right direction” territory: the spaghetti-fied wiring is being sorted out and worked into something managable, missing and damaged parts are being replaced, sheetmetal work is ongoing, and after seeing if a 325-series tire will tuck under the haunches, he’s now looking at making that a permanent deal. A turbo Lincoln with steamroller rubber out back? Yep, that works for us.
We’re dying to see the Lincoln out prowling around, so in no uncertain terms: get on it, man!
