Finnegan’s Great Car Trade Experiment Part 2: Swapping an ’85 Caddy for a ’53 Chevy Truck After Swapping An El Camino For The Caddy!

We’ve all heard stories from friends or acquaintances who have traded cars and trucks forever and ended up with something far cooler than they started with. I know I’ve always wanted to try to trade my way from something I have to something cooler that I want, but have never actually tried it. Finnegan is doing the same thing and trying to see if he can take the crusty old 1960 El Camino and trade it for something fun and exciting. Will be pull it off? Let’s see what he comes up with in this episode of Finnegan’s Garage.

Video Description:

A few months ago, I drug a 1960 Chevy El Camino out of a friends yard after it sat for 16 years. I traded that Elco for an ’86 Cadillac Brougham and after having fun with the air suspension, I’m trading that car, too. The goal is to eventually trade cars until I end up with a bucket list ride. For now, we are trading the Caddy for a ’53 Chevy 3600 3/4 ton pickup. Episode 341 of Mike Finnegan’s Garage follows us to Indiana to Indian to make the trade and then back home to Georgia to get the truck running again because, of course, it hasn’t run in years either.
