The guys at Racepak sent me an email yesterday saying they needed to hire a new person for their Southern California headquarters. If you are into off road, road racing, or other motorsports, and want to go to 10-20 races and events a year as a factory representative, this could be the job for you. This Technical and Sales Support position requires sound computer skills, an understanding of motorsports and the vehicles in them, a good education and the drive to be self sufficient in the field. We can tell you from personal experience that the guys at Racepak are the real deal. They are true enthusiasts with experience working on and driving everything from road racers to Top Fuel cars.

This position is located in sunny Southern California, where the weather is almost always good and we race all year long. The travel involved will be mostly domestic, but may include some international travel as well. This position is going to require someone who is not just a “sheeple”. If you need to be told what to do and when to do it at every turn, this isn’t the career for you. Racepak is looking for someone who brings some skill and knowledge of the motorsports community, and the racing environment, who can learn the ins and outs of Racepak products and then be given the responsibility of actively supporting and promoting them both in the office and on the road.

It’s an exciting opportunity for a motivated self-starter who is either looking for a change from their current position in the industry, or for one of you BangShifters out there who wants to get their foot in the door on the industry side of things.

Good communication skills are a must. A College or University degree would be great, some college is a must. You must be able to learn, that is key.

Are you an off road race team guy? A road racing gal? A Monster Truck dude? A drifting god? Racepak wants some variety, so don’t think you have to be a drag racer or drag racing crew chief to get this position. Variety is the spice of life, and Racepak likes it really really spicy.
