It wasn’t a matter of if, it was a matter of when we would start to hear of places closing up shop with the blame planted squarely at the COVID-19 situation on hand. Workers required to remain at home, sometimes under a state government order, a lack of sales, an an unknown future would eventually start taking a toll on businesses, and it appears we have the first one to go down. AccuAir Suspension closed up yesterday after the investors decided to back out after eighteen years. One of the names in the game of bringing a car down to ground level, AccuAir has a wide fan base and has products fitted to builds the world over. They’ve been on many SEMA vehices, from the exotics on the super-expensive wheels to some of the SquareBody Syndicate’s trucks.
We would like to say that this was some sick April Fool’s joke…it isn’t. We’d love to say that there won’t be any more stories like this in the future…there will be, most likely. If you’re still in the game, hang tough as long as possible. If you’re stuck at home and were in the middle of building, keep building. Get your ride ready for the moment this all passes. The folks who build the custom stuff for your dream machine are depending on you.
A company that has been around 18 years shits down after only 2 weeks of shelter in place ? Something seems fishy
Indeed. The \’investors\” pulled the plug, eh? Sounds like they\’re fishing for some of the SBA money.
Was thinking the same thing.
Fishy = Yes
Discounted kits = where?
