We love the guys over at Ridetech, and the fact that everything they own gets beat on. We’ve always said that their products are Bret Tested which means you can’t possibly be harder on them than they are. To drive that point home, Bret sent us a photo of their 2010 Mustang after a week long sales trip through the midwest in horrible snow. The car looks trashed, but that doesn’t phase them at all. We also are including two new videos from the Ridetech boys about the installation of their new E-Rod crate engine in the Ridetech project ’66 Chevelle.
We’ve had the opportunity to put some laps on the Chevelle, which finished 9th in the 2010 Optima Ultimate Street Car Invitational this year, and can tell you it is one bad mother with that new E-Rod “430” horse package. GM won’t officially release the numbers on that bad boy, but we know from experience it is really making more than 500!
Check out the Mustang after it’s snow ridden trip below, and then check out the two videos on the E-Rod installation under that.
Bret, this is your ‘ole babysitter and neighbor. What a hoot to watch your accomplishments. I am proud of you and your wonderful family.
