Our dude of dudes Chuy from MSD once again sent us a good one. Tomorrow, July 28th, and Wednesday, July 31st, Cinemark theaters around the country will be having showings of American Graffitti on the big screen. They have digitally remastered everything to look super good on the screen and have perfect audio as well. The showings are limited to one or two each day, so make sure you click the link below and get your plans made. We’ve already missed Animal House and Back to the Future, but Ghost Busters is still to come. Oh, and so is Dirty Dancing if you are into that kind of thing.

I went to the sunday afternoon showing, pretty cool to see in the theatre, the theatre was about half full, LOTS of car guys there and I think I was one of the youngest people in there.
On cinemarks site the movie was toted as being digitally remastered, um no, lots of scenes werent very sharp, fuzzy, and almost looked out of focus and had a very grainy look to it all, BUT I can say ive seen it in the theatre, drive in, tv, and i own it on dvd lol
Saw it Sunday afternoon as well. Pretty cool on the big screen. Yes, their were places where the film was grainy but the huge screen size made up for it. The theater had the surround sound system cranked and with only 20 people in a theater made for 500 the experience was awesome.
Whish they would show it in our theatres in our market, we don’t have those theatres, we have Marcus
