It’s been a few months past a year since my byline appeared in Hot Rod, but fortunately I only singed the bridge a bit when I left and my friends over there have accepted some freelance work from me. The first of these stories to appear in Hot Rod just hit the March ’09 issue of the magazine with an article called “Rubber Room” that details the minitub job I had done on my ’69 Satellite a few years ago. The car seen in the story has since been sold to pay the mortgage, though it still sits in my driveway, temping me.
