BangShift is proud to announce that our good friends Trent Summers, Jason Brady, Brad Coomer, and the rest of the Summers clan, have joined forces with Rocket Racing Wheels for the upcoming Goodguys Autocross Sponsor Shootout in Columbus Ohio. The Summers’ bitchin C10 Pro Touring machine will feature prominent Rocket Racing Wheels signage while defending it’s win from last year where it took out all comers, including the Camaros of Detroit Speed and Ridetech, the “Hellboy” C10 of No Limit Engineering, along with every other hot car and driver in Pro Touring. It was a who’s who of Autocross, and Brad Coomer owned it behind the wheel of the truck we called “Snoopy”.
Soon after the win in Columbus, the truck received all new external sheetmetal from LMC Truck and was made “pretty” since it had NOT been before. It ran multiple events and ultimately won a Golden Ticket to the Optima Ultimate Street Car Invitational in Nevada last year. Since then the truck has more power, including some NOS Nitrous, and will be hammering the competition at events all over the country this year, including the upcoming Holley LS Fest in Bowling Green where BangShift will be announcing all events.
Check out the rendering below and congratulations to Rocket Racing Wheels for aligning themselves with such a top notch team for the upcoming Sponsor Shootout. Rocket builds some of the finest hot rod wheels out there, and continues to increase their offerings for late models, trucks, and muscle cars, while not losing sight of their roots in the hot rod community. Below is an old “before” shot of the truck from early last year. Keep in mind, the black body parts were new at the time and still made it look twice as good as it did before.
